English Programme 2013 - Public Speaking

Every Thursday, a student is selected to give a speech during the morning assembly. The students are selected and asked to prepare their own speech. These are good students who have good command of the language so the other students know how public speaking is supposed to be done. This programme gives more opportunities for students to speak in front of a public. The teacher in charge is Puan Norizah Baba.

English Programme 2013 - In class Public Speaking

It has been a while since I can pen anything for this blog. Being the only administrator left me so occupied with the school's blog. Since last year's PMR results was not encouraging especially for English, drastic action has to be taken to raise the standard again. Realizing one of the main problems is getting the students to speak English in school, the English language panel has decided to revive the 5 minute public speaking programme this year. Students are to speak on any topic for 5 solid minutes after which their classmates will give constructive comments. This is to give students more chance to be able to speak infront of people to gain self confidence besides encouraging the usage of the language. Students are also given a chance to present the literature chapters in class. ELD hopes that MOZAC students will take this opportunity to better themselves
